Cook’s Note. Garden harvests rotate with the season: sweet potatoes, golden potatoes, carrots, onions, scallions, broccoli, tomatoes, peppers, spinach, cucumbers, corn, lettuce, zucchini, watermelon, rainbow chard and lots of herbs. Filling in with fresh bio produce from the market in between seasons and when the crops are not yet producing. But all produce is picked with loving care. xo. And we do use natural pest control methods (such as planting herbs the bugs don't like, using companion planting and use coffee grounds and other. natural food items that repel the insects). We also make homemade nutrient-rich "teas" to feed our plants and we also make our own all-natural fertile compost for extra nutrients for our garden. ps. I will happily take your grass clippings (if you don't use pesticides or anything unnatural on your lawn), your banana peels, egg shells, coffee grounds and other compostables if you are looking for a way to avoid the landfill and give back to the Earth. ;-) We don't have a Michelin star but we do have a Michelin tire swing at our farm in Tennessee. ;-)
