Jihee is a two-time immigrant from Korea to the USA to Portugal. Root & Brine reflects that journey: Korean tradition, local ingredients, and small-batch fermentation shaped by life between cultures.
Weekly homemade jars of vegan-friendly, gluten-free, low-sodium kimchi made with local ingredients. NY Kimchi is the current launch batch: spicy, naturally fermented, and available in small and medium jars. A portion of sales is donated in memory of Jihee's sister, Julia, to support those affected by cancer.
